Per PEGI Pan European Game Information rating system: apply PEGI age ratings. PEGI offers 5 age categories: (1) PEGI 3 - Content suitable for all ages with mild violence in comical context + (2) PEGI 7 - Game scenes that may be frightening for younger children + mild violence implied + (3) PEGI 12 - Video games showing violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy characters + mild bad language + (4) PEGI 16 - Violence + sexual activity look the same as in real life + use of strong language + simulated gambling + (5) PEGI 18 - Categorisation of adult content including graphic violence + sexual violence + glamorisation of illegal drug use. Requirements include (a) apply correct age rating to each product using PEGI self-assessment + administrator review + (b) display PEGI age rating prominently on packaging + storefront + marketing materials + (c) maintain documentation of rating decisions + supporting evidence + (d) maintain age verification mechanisms appropriate to rating + market.
