Public or private persons may process images and sound from camera systems to protect people, property and facilities; capture from public roads only as far as essential, more widely only for strategic assets, facilities or transport infrastructure, never inside a private home. Recordings needed to prove acts against people, property or facilities must be made available to the competent authority within seventy-two hours of learning of the recording. A person's cameras covering only the inside of their own home are excluded, but not a security company hired to monitor it.
