Subpart Y: Diving – OSHA Safety and Health Regulations for Construction (29 CFR Part 1926)

OSHA Safety and Health Regulations for Construction (29 CFR Part 1926) 1926.1085: 1926.1085 Surface-supplied air diving

Duty by incorporation. For construction work, this section adopts without change the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.425, the general industry commercial diving section on surface-supplied air diving; 1926 contains no separate wording of its own. An employer conducting diving operations in construction must therefore meet 1910.425 in full, and compliance is judged against that section. The pointer text says nothing further, so the specific duties, content and any intervals are those stated in 1910.425 itself.
