Oregon OSHA Construction Rules (OAR 437 Division 3) 437-003-0761: Certify steel erection training in writing, keep the latest record and retrain when understanding lapses

What does 437-003-0761 require?

The employer verifies compliance with the steel erection training requirements by a written certification record naming the employee trained, the training dates and the trainer or employer (showing the date prior training was judged adequate where it relies on earlier or another employer's training), maintains the latest certification, and retrains any affected employee who no longer has the required understanding and skill, including when workplace changes or changes in fall protection systems or equipment make previous training obsolete or when inadequacies in knowledge or use of fall protection appear.
