Oregon OSHA Construction Rules (OAR 437 Division 3) 437-003-0020: Provide flush toilets and washing facilities on projects of one million dollars or more, and keep toilets clean

What does 437-003-0020 require?

In addition to the federal toilet rule, on any project whose estimated cost reaches one million dollars the employer or owner provides flush toilet facilities in the required numbers and washing facilities with wash basins, warm water and soap (highway, utility transmission and similar projects excepted, and the director may exempt projects where compliance is impractical); where no women will use the toilets, urinals may stand in for some of them but the toilet count never drops below two thirds of the minimum; and toilets and toilet areas are kept repaired, clean and sanitary.
