Ontario Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) - IASR Web Standard AODACAN-6: Employment Accessibility, Accommodation, Return to Work, Performance

Apply employment accessibility per AODA + IASR Part III (Employment Standards) Sections 22-32. Recruitment must (a) notify employees and the public of the availability of accommodation for applicants with disabilities + (b) notify applicants selected to participate in selection process about availability of accommodation + (c) notify successful applicant of accommodation policies. Workplace emergency response information must be provided per individual need including any required individualized workplace emergency response information. Documented individual accommodation plans must be developed for employees with disabilities per IASR Section 28 including (a) employee participation + (b) assessment information from qualified professional where required + (c) accommodation measures + (d) review and update process. Return to work process must be documented including supports for employees returning to work following disability-related absence. Performance management + career development must take into account accessibility needs.
