An organisation given recommendations in a monitoring assessment report (s 8W(2)) or an investigation report (s 8Z(3)) responds within the period the Children's Guardian specifies (at least 28 days); failing to respond, or responding unsatisfactorily, is a ground for investigation (s 8X(2)(b)), and the recommendations must be reflected in its systems (s 8D(3)(b)).
