If the child safe organisation is a relevant entity under Part 4 (the reportable conduct scheme), its head ensures it implements a reportable conduct policy covering the s 54(2) matters: preventing and detecting reportable conduct by employees; requiring employees to report reportable allegations and convictions as soon as possible; enabling others to report to the head; handling allegations with procedural fairness; receiving, handling and disclosing related information; and preventing reportable conduct (s 8D(2)). Part 4 itself is not built in this framework.
