CSF 2.0 outcome: incident response plans and other cybersecurity plans that affect operations are established, communicated, maintained and improved. Priority High. N1: relevant plans include incident response plans (the roadmap for the capability), vulnerability management plans and business continuity plans. R1: synchronize business continuity plans with incident response plans, since incidents can undermine business resilience. R2: review and update all cybersecurity plans periodically or when significant improvements are needed. R3: base each plan on the organization's own requirements, mission, size, structure and functions. R4: each plan should identify the resources and management support needed to carry it out. N2: continuity planners told about incidents and their impacts can refine business impact assessments, risk assessments and continuity of operations plans, and bring expertise to planning responses to incident types such as denial of service.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
