NIST SP 800-46 Rev 2 Enterprise Telework, Remote Access and BYOD Security 2.1a: Secure every component of the telework and remote access solution

What does 2.1a require?

To keep remote access traffic and the resources it reaches confidential, intact and available, all the components of the solution are secured against the threats they face: the client devices, the remote access servers and the internal servers that are reached through remote access. Each gets the general server or client controls of SP 800-53 plus the telework-specific measures in this publication.
