NIST SP 800-215 Guide to a Secure Enterprise Network Landscape HAE-NCF-1: Manage and secure every endpoint through unified endpoint management

What does HAE-NCF-1 require?

Treating the endpoint as the perimeter, the enterprise runs a unified endpoint management solution over all endpoints that reach on-premises and cloud applications, which at a minimum supports devices with different operating systems, installs and maintains device and service authentication certificates, installs and maintains device health applications, keeps patches updated, and gives administrators the means to track endpoints, audit them and report on their content and applications.
