New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 8.4.10.C.01: 8.4.10.C.01 Secure IT equipment with media when unoccupied

Agencies must make sure that when secure areas are not operating, or work areas are unoccupied, IT equipment containing media is secured to at least the physical security standard required for storage of classified information, as the PSR physical security management protocol specifies together with its supporting guidance on storage requirements for electronic information held in ICT facilities.
