New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 5.5.6.C.01: 5.5.6.C.01 Procedures required in the system user SOPs

The system user's SOPs should document procedures for the following topics, as set out in the table in this control: acceptable use (the permitted uses of the system or systems); end of day (securing systems when the day ends); information security incidents (what to do when an incident is suspected or has occurred); media control (how media is to be handled and used); passwords (selecting and protecting passwords); and temporary absence (securing systems while briefly away).
