New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 21.1.13.C.01: 21.1.13.C.01 Handle unencrypted-to-lower devices as classified assets

For CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET and TOP SECRET systems, where encryption cannot bring a mobile device's storage and physical transfer requirements down to an unclassified level, agencies must store and move the device physically as a classified asset, following the applicable handling instructions.
