New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 13.4.15.C.01: Sanitising EPROM media

What does 13.4.15.C.01 require?

For non-volatile EPROM media, agencies must sanitise by erasing it according to the manufacturer's specification with the stated ultraviolet erasure time tripled, then overwriting the whole media at least once with a pseudo random pattern, and then reading it back to verify.
