New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 11.2.14.C.01: 11.2.14.C.01 Wireless RF and IR pointing devices prohibited in secure areas

For CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET and TOP SECRET systems, agencies must not use pointing devices that communicate wirelessly by RF or IR inside secure areas, unless the Accreditation Authority has approved them and suitable RF or IR mitigations have been put in place.
