New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 11.1.19.C.01: 11.1.19.C.01 Technical evaluation and Accreditation Authority approval for Bluetooth in secure areas

For CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET and TOP SECRET systems, before Bluetooth devices may be used in a secure area, agencies must: (1) carry out a technical evaluation of that secure area; (2) consult the relevant technical authority; and (3) obtain approval from the Accreditation Authority.
