New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 10.7.7.C.01: Emanation threat assessment for overseas classified deployments

What does 10.7.7.C.01 require?

For CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET and TOP SECRET systems, when agencies deploy systems overseas, whether in fixed, mobile or temporary locations, they must: ask GCSB for help carrying out an emanation security threat assessment; and install both equipment and cabling according to this manual together with any specific installation criteria that come out of that assessment.
