The entrepreneur gives the works council the opportunity to advise on every proposed decision to appoint or dismiss a director (bestuurder) of the undertaking, at a time when the advice can substantially influence it; he informs the council of the reasons and, for an appointment, provides information enabling it to form a view of the candidate for the future function.
