Part 2, clause 8: Technological government measures – Netherlands Baseline Information Security for Government 2 (BIO2)

Netherlands Baseline Information Security for Government 2 (BIO2) 8.01.01: Zero footprint on mobile devices, or encryption-based access control with remote wipe

What does 8.01.01 require?

Mobile equipment is configured so that, as the standard, no business information sits on the user's device (zero footprint); where a footprint near zero cannot yet be reached, the laptop, tablet, smartphone or other mobile device protects access through an access control mechanism that at the least encrypts the data, and remote deletion is available.
