The Supplier defines its process for root cause analysis of nonconformities, including the tools and techniques it uses (root cause analysis being the collective term for approaches, tools and techniques that identify causes of nonconformity, 3.3.10). SRD.1: the analysis process, tools and techniques (for example FMECA, cause-and-effect diagrams, why-why analysis) are named in or referenced by the contract Quality Plan, with competent people to apply them. SRD.2: against AS9100D 10.2. Base clause: ISO 9001:2015 clause 10.2 (corrective action).
