Storage area networks. Level 1 (a and b): authorised access to storage networks and network security management. Level 2 (a to e): access control and network protection; port controls restricting each port's function; protected storage communications with certificate and key management; storage devices answering only authorised devices; and automatic replication. Level 3 (a to d): hard zoning in the Fibre Channel switch; LUN masking; encryption of stored data and of data moving between storage devices; and customer options to control the encryption keys. The SAC criteria let an IaaS provider replace the SAN with other backup solutions.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
