Service and application accounts. Level 1: such accounts are never hard-coded or stored in plain text in scripts, batch files or configurations, and cannot log in interactively. Level 2 (a to e): either dual password control by at least two administrators or one-time or time-limited administrator passwords when creating service accounts; sensitive session parameters and cookies never cached or kept on local machines; restricted simultaneous logins; restricted console login; and applications built for the cloud authentication model. Level 3: service account passwords changed at least twice a year.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
