A provider, landlord, custodian or other person may give information, facilities or technical assistance to persons authorized to intercept only when given a court order signed by the authorizing judge that sets the period and the assistance required. It must not disclose the interception or device except as legal process requires and after notifying the judge or the State's Attorney; an unauthorized disclosure brings liability for compensatory damages.
