Gives one consistent source of information about every service and service offering and makes sure the right audience can reach it. The catalogue lists services currently available, which are a subset of the service portfolio, described in language suited to each audience, with views tailored to users (what they can request and how it is provisioned), to customers (service levels, financial and performance information) and to IT-to-IT customers (technical, security and process details), avoiding separate catalogues scattered across systems. The request catalogue is the users' view of the service requests on offer. The practice supports strategy and portfolio decisions; watches descriptions and demand patterns to find improvements; supports and automates relationships with customers and users through the relationship, request and service desk practices; publishes utility and warranty details, including security policy, continuity levels, SLAs and offerings, during design and transition; provides views for procurement; and gives delivery and support their context.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
