An entity engaged in commercial banking, asset management or insurance discloses additional information on financed emissions (part of Category 15), applying the paragraph 29(a) requirements: asset managers give absolute gross financed emissions by scope, the AUM included for each, the percentage of total AUM covered (explaining exclusions by asset type and amount) and the methodology including attribution; commercial banks and insurers give financed emissions by scope for each industry by asset class, gross exposure per industry by asset class in presentation currency (funded amounts at carrying amount before loss allowance, undrawn commitments separately), the percentage of gross exposure covered (explaining exclusions, excluding risk mitigants for funded amounts, undrawn commitments shown separately) and the methodology. Under the December 2025 amendments the entity chooses an industry-classification system that shows its transition risk exposure, prioritising a commonly used system, and discloses the system and why it fits; the asset classes must cover loans, bonds, project finance, equity investments and undrawn commitments, with any others explained; the entity may limit Category 15 to financed emissions (loans and investments, including AUM) and exclude derivatives, explaining what it treated as a derivative and the activities excluded; and if Category 15 is included it discloses the total Category 15 and the financed emissions subtotal. The held UK text also requires, where financed emissions cannot be estimated reliably for the period that the financial statements cover, the reason, the approach used and a plan with timeline (B59A).
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
