ISO/IEC 29115:2013 - Entity Authentication Assurance Framework 6.7: 6.7 Exchanging authentication results based on the 4 LoAs

When authentication results are exchanged between parties (for example a verifier asserting to a relying party) the result should carry the LoA at which the entity was authenticated, in a form the relying party can interpret against this framework, so that the relying party can decide whether the assurance meets the need it established under 6.5; the assertion mechanism and its protection are part of what the relying party relies on.
