An evaluation conforming to part 2 follows the specified method and EAs for all related SFRs; where it uses a different method or EA (for example photon-number-resolving detection in place of 7.2), the evaluator shows it is equivalent or more restrictive, and EAs may be omitted or added only where appropriately justified, the selection following the protocol and implementation.
