PT activities are undertaken impartially, the provider is structured and managed to safeguard impartiality, and it is responsible for the impartiality of its activities, allowing no commercial, financial or other pressure to compromise it. It monitors its activities and relationships, including those of its personnel, to identify threats to impartiality, a relationship through ownership, governance, management, staff, shared resources, finance, contract or marketing not being a threat in itself; where a threat is identified its effect is eliminated or minimised, and top management commits to impartiality.
