The organization sets OH&S objectives for the relevant functions and levels; they must be consistent with the policy, measurable where practicable, take applicable requirements into account, are monitored, communicated, updated as needed and kept as documented information. The objectives must reflect the results of the risk and opportunity assessments and of consultation with workers and their representatives. Plans to reach them state what will be done, the resources, who is responsible, the completion date, how results will be evaluated (including monitoring indicators) and how the actions fit into business processes, and the plans are documented. The draft merges the two first-edition sub-clauses into one.
