The organization sets up processes for anticipating when decisions about its assets, how it manages them, and its management system for doing so will be needed. In doing so it considers the need to (a) establish how often nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement, arise in any of these three and what they lead to; (b) establish the best points to intervene, for example to maintain, renew, replace or dispose of an asset; and (c) find the inputs needed to link the condition of an asset with its performance, cost, risk and opportunity, and to establish depreciation and financial value. Once a potential nonconformity or opportunity is identified, the organization handles it under 10.2 and builds the resulting action into its asset management planning. It reports to relevant stakeholders on the effect, over the long term, that decisions taken on the strength of predictive action have on asset and asset management performance.
This control maps to 3 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
ISO 55001:2024 10.3 is one control. If you already hold one of the frameworks below, a reviewed crosswalk already says how much of ISO 55001:2024 your existing evidence covers. Hold ISO 55001:2014 and 27 of 38 ISO 55001:2024 controls already carry evidence.
Each report names every control your existing framework evidences, every one it does not, the reasoning behind each claim, and the claims that were argued against and rejected. 0 were rejected on the ISO 55001:2014 pair alone.
The graph holds this control, the 3 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
