Documented information required by the RTS management system and by this standard shall be controlled to ensure it is available and suitable for use where and when needed and adequately protected against loss of confidentiality, improper use or loss of integrity; the organization shall address distribution, access, retrieval and use, storage and preservation including legibility, control of changes and retention and disposition, and shall identify and control documented information of external origin necessary for planning and operating the system.
