ISO 22316
Clause 4: Principles and coordinated approach – ISO 22316

ISO 22316 4.1: 4.1 Principles of organizational resilience

The principles form the base from which a framework and a strategy for greater organizational resilience can be built, put into practice and evaluated. An organization's resilience: grows when behaviour lines up with a vision and purpose that people share; depends on a current understanding of the organization's context; depends on being able to absorb change, adapt to it and respond to it well; depends on sound governance and management; draws on a variety of skills, leadership, knowledge and experience; grows through coordination among management disciplines and input from technical and scientific specialists; and depends on managing risk effectively.
