ISO 19650 - Organisation and Digitisation of Information about Buildings and Civil Engineering Works (BIM) 6:4.2.1: 4.2.1 Initiation

The appointing party shall take up the shared way of structuring health and safety information set out in 4.3 to 4.5. It supports a risk management cycle in which information and evidence are identified, shared, used and generalised for managing health and safety risks and hazards and incidents, and may also cover recording earlier and current conditions that affect the present works. Legal, regulatory, supervisory and management concerns are weighed when setting expectations.
