IFS Wholesale / Cash & Carry Version 2
Chapter 6: Product defense and food fraud – IFS Wholesale / Cash & Carry Version 2

IFS Wholesale / Cash & Carry Version 2 6.1.1: Product defense: defense assessment and external inspections

What does 6.1.1 require?

A documented product defense risk assessment identifies and protects security-critical areas, taking legal requirements into account, and is reviewed annually or when changes could affect product integrity; a system for handling irregularities is defined and tested regularly. Where law requires registration or official site inspections, the evidence is available, and all employees receive activity-related instruction on product defense, again after significant changes to the programme, with records.

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
