Where the PAA is used, the entity discloses which eligibility test it met, whether it adjusts for time value and financial risk, and how it treats acquisition cash flows; for those contracts only the reconciliations in paragraphs 98 to 100, 102 to 103, 105 to 105B and 109A apply. Every entity presents, in tables and separately for contracts issued and reinsurance held, reconciliations of net carrying amounts from start to end of the period, split into portfolios in an asset position and in a liability position: one for the LRC excluding the loss component, one for the loss component and one for the LIC (under the PAA the LIC shows the present value of cash flows and the risk adjustment separately); and, for contracts outside the PAA, further ones for the CSM, the risk adjustment and the present value of estimated future cash flows. The reconciliations show insurance revenue, service expenses divided into claims and other expenses incurred, amortisation of acquisition cash flows, changes relating to past and to future service, and investment components. The reconciliation for contracts under the general model also shows the future-service changes, split by whether they adjust the CSM, and the effect of new contracts, the current-service amounts (CSM released, risk adjustment released, experience adjustments) and past-service changes, together with cash flows, changes in the reinsurer's non-performance risk, insurance finance income or expenses and any other items needed. A separate reconciliation covers the asset for acquisition cash flows, with impairment losses and their reversals shown on their own.
