IFRS 17 - Insurance Contracts 131-132: Credit risk and liquidity risk

On credit risk, the entity discloses the figure that best shows its maximum exposure at the reporting date, split between contracts issued and reinsurance held, together with information on how creditworthy its reinsurance assets are. On liquidity risk, it explains how it manages the risk and gives separate maturity analyses for liability portfolios of contracts issued and of reinsurance held, showing at minimum the net cash flows in each of the next five years and a combined figure beyond that, based either on the expected timing of undiscounted contractual net cash flows or on estimates of present value (the LRC of contracts under the PAA may be left out). It also discloses amounts payable on demand and how they relate to the carrying amounts of the portfolios.
