The effort, evidence and outcomes of applying the standard are to be recorded, consolidated and presented as a coherent narrative, the Case for Age Appropriate Conformity, which serves as the project's memory and as an auditable record, much like a safety case, that gives a structured account of both the ethical and the technical work behind the age appropriate design and a foundation for later assessment and possible certification. It should be developed in an evolutionary way through the life of the system, recording process outputs, evidence and outcomes at each stage. Its recommended contents, usable as a checklist without mandating titles or order, are: an introduction with societal context and key drivers; the system of interest with purpose, scope, boundaries and interfaces (direct and indirect stakeholders, data flows, processes), initial concepts of operation and dependent systems; the age appropriate context outcomes, with a realistic scenario (market share assumption, places of use, geographies, primary interfaces), preliminary harms and benefits, key stakeholders, consultation and the AAR's areas of impact, hazards and opportunities and value narrative; the enterprise's age appropriate strategy, with its policy statement (Annex D) and the processes aligned to it; the age appropriate requirements at system level and the values affected; what the ethical risk assessment and management for age appropriateness produced (the scenarios at risk with their evaluation and tolerability criteria, the opportunities sustained, mitigation and control options, derived functional and non-functional requirements, balancing against other requirements); those requirements traced into the system design; claims and conclusions; and principal resources and references.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
