The State ensures (a) background checks are completed before persons take up duties implementing security controls, gain unescorted access to security restricted areas or gain access to sensitive aviation security information; (b) recurrent checks are applied at intervals the appropriate authority sets; (c) anyone found unsuitable by a check is immediately denied those duties and that access.
