Staff who accept dangerous goods undergo training in them with recurrent training within 24 months (and acceptance staff complete it even where dangerous goods are not carried, to recognise them); personnel handling, storing or loading dangerous goods complete the training appropriate to their function; and equipment operators should be trained and qualified for the equipment (CGO 2.2.1 to 2.2.4).
