LICENCE REQUIREMENTS: company registration + competency demonstration + insurance + ethics + Code of Conduct + financial standing + responsible person designation; licences typically valid 3 YEARS + renewable. CYBERSECURITY PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION (Sec.59-68): MANDATORY ACCREDITATION for individuals practising as cybersecurity professionals in Ghana including penetration testers + DFIR analysts + cybersecurity consultants + auditors; ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS: education + experience + certifications (e.g. CISSP + CISM + OSCP + CEH + CompTIA Security+ + GIAC + ISO 27001 Lead Auditor + others) + continuing professional development + ethics + Code of Conduct; accreditation typically valid 3 YEARS + renewable + with annual reporting + CPD. ENFORCEMENT: practising without licence/accreditation is an OFFENCE + fines + imprisonment. EXEMPTIONS: in-house cybersecurity staff (not offering services to third parties) + foreign entities providing services to Ghanaian customers may need cross-border licensing arrangements. ENGAGEMENT: organizations should maintain LICENSED MSSP RELATIONSHIPS + verify professional accreditation of in-house + contracted staff.
