The employer informs the council in good time, with the necessary documents, of plans for constructing, altering or extending premises, for technical plants, for working methods and processes (artificial intelligence included), and for jobs, and consults it early on the planned measures and their impact on employees, especially on the kind of work they do and the demands on them, so that its proposals and concerns can be taken into account; both consider established ergonomic findings. Failure to inform properly is an administrative offence (s 121).
