Germany Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) S35: Duty to give the market surveillance authority information it needs, with a right to refuse self-incriminating answers

What does S35 require?

Economic operators must give the market surveillance authority, on a reasoned request, the information it needs to carry out its tasks under the Act; a person may refuse to answer questions that would expose them or close relatives to criminal or administrative-offence proceedings and must be told of that right.
