The computerized system life cycle has four phases, concept, project, operation and retirement, and the guide's activities of planning, specifying, verifying and reporting sit inside them. The concept phase identifies the business need and the intended use; the project phase delivers a system that complies and is fit for the use intended through planning, specification, configuration or coding, verification, reporting and release; the operation phase keeps it in a state of control through supporting processes; and retirement withdraws it with its data managed. Where a computerized system is one component of automated manufacturing equipment, a separate computerized system validation is avoided and the life cycle is integrated with the equipment's own specification and verification process, following the ASTM E2500 model.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
