The AB checks the CB holds at least a provisional Foundation license before accrediting, confirms or declines applications in writing with scope and reasons, covers every applicable scheme requirement, witnesses at least one audit and reviews one full certification file during initial accreditation, and follows the BoS decision list. The accreditation certificate names FSSC 24000 and its version, PAS 24000:2022 and the additional requirements, key activities and locations, ISO/IEC 17021-1 initial and expiry dates, with no sector codes. Witnessing follows IAF MD 17 sections 0 to 3, always covers a whole audit (a full system audit for initial accreditation, on site; later ones may be remote under IAF MD 4 after a feasibility check) by competent assessors, and witness and office reports go to the Foundation, which in turn shares Integrity Program results with the AB.
