The governing body is invited to build anti-corruption measures into risky processes: integrity checks in recruiting and appointing managers and the most exposed staff, recognising managers' prevention efforts in objectives and appraisals, preventing commercial rebates and discounts being used corruptly, and competitive tendering of suppliers. The company communicates its prevention policy widely to all staff (at least the code of conduct, training and the alert system) and, suitably, to external partners to protect staff from undue solicitations (paragraphs 99 and 113 to 115).
