FINMA Guidance 08/2024 Governance and Risk Management When Using Artificial Intelligence (Switzerland) 2.6: Make results explainable enough to assess their plausibility and robustness

What does 2.6 require?

Where a decision has to be justified to an investor, a client, an employee, the supervisor or the audit firm, the institution can understand, explain and reproduce the application's results so they can be critically assessed, which means understanding the drivers of the application and how it behaves under different conditions in order to judge the plausibility and robustness of its results.
