Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (UK) sch6: Threshold conditions: initial and continuing suitability for authorisation

An authorised person must satisfy, and continue to satisfy, the threshold conditions in Sch 6: legal status appropriate to the activity, location of offices (mind and management, or head office, in the UK where required), capability of being effectively supervised, appropriate (non-financial) resources, suitability, and conducting business in a sound and prudent manner. The regulator may vary or cancel permission if a firm no longer satisfies them.
