Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (UK) notify: Duty to notify the regulator on ceasing to perform, or losing fitness for, an approved or certified function

Each authorised person must, at least annually, consider whether grounds exist to withdraw an approval given on its application and notify the regulator if grounds exist, per s 63(2A); a firm must similarly notify the regulator without undue delay of facts relevant to a certified person's fitness and propriety under s 63F, and of an individual ceasing to perform a senior management or certification function, including the circumstances of the departure where regulatory references require disclosure.
