Means of compliance and the operator's aircraft network security program – FAA Aircraft Systems Information Security Protection (ASISP)

FAA Aircraft Systems Information Security Protection (ASISP) ANSP.16-17: ANSP.16-17 Mergers, program changes and contract maintenance

Mergers, acquisitions and program changes that affect the ANSP may need review by the principal avionics inspector, with in-depth review of changed interfaces to corporate IT and flight operations, especially where the acquiring operator has no program; contract maintenance providers are held to the same ANSP standards as the operator's own staff, with differences allowed only for the scope of work, and any on-call technician's interface with critical systems is supervised by the operator's maintenance control, the operator remaining ultimately responsible.
